I went to American Eagle unsure of where to look what I needed what was possible in my size. Eric was amazing helpful in all ways possible he made My day go from stressful to amazing he is truly a Great person and an outstanding employee I am grateful I had the chance to meet this Man! I will totally be returning and hoping that he is there to help me!

I was a week late with my payment. I paid my balance in full. I tried to place an order with the credit I had before paying in full and I was declined! So... if you have money to spend on your AE card - don't rely on it. I know everything should be paid on time... things happen. Most cards do not block you for one past due payment!

At my local AE I had a snobby Jack Ass, She was more obsessed about what was on her phone. Seemed like a slut but that's another story. She was ignorant and useless. Even told me to $#*! off when I asked for a room to try them on. I gave a 4 star because he quality has been $#*! but I always take care of the items and have good luck with them. If you take care of them then they'll be good that's why they are great for me. So awesome clothes I like them and prices are fair I just know I'm driving to the other AE across town the next time I go and hope that I don't have a prick for a worker. I put in a customer complaint to Her manager and I hope he fires that arrogant $#*!. I went in a few days ago to look at some prices and I had. No content to shop there which I didn't because of her. I was comparing prices between this one and the AE across town from me. And in there I didn't see her so I hope she got fired but I won't be going back there again. If I shop there its online shopping. If you are ever in Boston MA don't go to the AE on 200 State street that's where I had the $#*!ty service. Other than that AE all you need to work on to please me is get kind useful workers. Other than that keep up the good work.

Customer service is not bad. However, they charge their customers for shipping returns even though their stores are closed and customers don't have other options. Also, after paying for shipping to return my items, I contacted customer service and was informed by one of their customer service representatives that they offer pre-paid shipping labels. I had spoken to a customer service representative about shipping fees right before shipping mine out and she failed to mention to me that they in fact offer pre-paid return slips. As a loyal customer who has been shopping there for years, like many of you reading this, it is disappointing. Make sure to ask for a pre-paid return slip before shipping out to AE.

I'm absolutely in love with ae clothes and especially jeans! The shipping is kinda slow but I think its totally worth it!

One of the items I ordered arrived damaged. The issue was resolved quickly by Ashley via website support chat. I am super impressed with the support I received.
Initially, was very reluctant to order online due to the reviews here and the return process for EU orders.
I ordered off the Intl/US site to Ireland and it arrived within a week.
When it comes to web experience there is room for improvement. Having 3 different website portals for the same brand feels counterintuitive and it made ordering more time-consuming. For example — I had ae/us/ open to access community reviews, ordered from ae/intl/ for international shipping (US returns), and aeo.eu for EU returns tho due to limited styles/colours of bestsellers so I did not order from there.
Overall, my experience was positive.

The staff is consistently so friendly and welcoming. Super attentive and helpful. Gabby at Spotsylvania Mall location was my AE rep and she was so patient and helpful she heard me say to my friend that I was looking for something and she came right over to help me find it. She informed us of all of the sales and deals. Told us about the different kinds of jeans that we were looking at and was overall a perfect ae rep. She also noticed my military ID as I was getting my card to pay and made sure I didn’t miss out on the military discount. She was comparable to a model Chick Fil A employee and I don’t say that lightly.

Good items and they are helpful if you need to return something

I love AE clothing. I am saddened to see that they have not taken any steps forward in 1. Reducing pollution and 2. Making sure clothing comes from workers who are paid fair wages/safe conditions. My most recent purchase was underwear and they were from 3 different locations in the world. India, China and Vietnam. Possibly Mexico too. The sewing sadly looked "off" and really made me think about who was making these clothes and how they were being treated. I will no longer buy from here. We all need to do better.

I've been purchasing stuff from them for the past four years never had an issue with a return never had an issue with anything I purchased if I ordered the right size it all fit fine anytime I can contact customer support I got a straight answer and these times I don't find it unusual for to take more than a day for a response
This is the only place I can actually find pants that fit and clothes that doesn't fall off yet or look like a rag one of my favorite places to buy clothing

I like these jeans. Thanks a lot for the perfect quality. Also, I bought jeans for my husband here. Perfect service.
